Composition of rfid reader
Leave a message
RFID reader mainly consists of three parts: antenna, radio frequency interface module and logic control module.
Antenna: The antenna is a key component of the RFID reader, responsible for converting the current signal in the reader into a radio frequency carrier signal and sending it to the electronic tag, or receiving the radio frequency carrier signal sent back by the tag and converting it into a current signal. The design of the antenna has an important impact on the working performance of the reader.
RF interface module: This module includes a transmitter, a radio frequency receiver, a clock generator and a voltage regulator, etc., and is mainly responsible for the transmission and reception of radio frequency signals. The modulation circuit is responsible for modulating the signal to be sent to the electronic tag, and the demodulation circuit is responsible for demodulating and amplifying the received signal. The clock generator provides the normal working clock of the system.
Logic control module: As the control center of the reader, the logic control module issues instructions to control the radio frequency interface module to perform corresponding operations. It includes a microcontroller, a storage unit and an application interface driver circuit, etc., responsible for signal encoding and decoding, data encryption and decryption, and execution of anti-collision algorithms.
In addition, the design of RFID readers needs to consider many factors, including basic functions, application environment, electrical performance and circuit design. The hardware of the reader is generally composed of antenna, RF module, control module and interface. The control module is the core of the reader, usually composed of ASIC components and microprocessor.
