Industrial Connection Products And Product Differences

The main difference between industrial connectors and ordinary connectors lies in their design, materials, load capacity and application environment. ‌

Design differences
Industrial connectors are devices specially designed to provide power wiring for various industrial enterprises' power and electronic equipment, usually composed of panels, rails, internal contacts and fasteners. Ordinary connectors do not have these special designs and are mainly used for power and signal transmission in daily life‌1.

Material differences
Industrial connectors usually use polycarbonate alloy materials, which are not easy to catch fire when the load is too large and are safer. In contrast, ordinary connectors mostly use ordinary plastic materials, which may burn or even catch fire when the load is too large. ‌
Load capacity differences
Industrial connectors have stronger load capacity, current specifications can meet 16A, 32A, 65A, 125A and other requirements, and cable configuration is more professional. Ordinary connectors have weaker load capacity, usually nominally rated at 10A, and weaker cable configuration, which is difficult to meet high load requirements‌.

Functional differences
Industrial connectors not only have power overload and control functions, but also have master switch, overload protection, current and voltage display and other functions, and are more versatile. Ordinary connectors have relatively simple functions and can only achieve basic power overload and control functions.

Application environment differences
Industrial connectors are designed for harsh environments and can withstand the test of industrial environments, with higher durability and stability. Ordinary connectors are mainly used in daily life and office environments, and have lower requirements for environmental adaptability.
