In mid-August 2026, at the HUST Industry-University-Research Conference in Qingdao, HIT officially signed an agreement with Haier Smart Home to establish a Joint Laboratory. Pioneering the concept of "AI Touch Empowering the Future Home,"the partnership integrates flexible electronics and full-stack AI tactile technologies into smart appliances, driving the industry to evolve from "audio-visual interaction" to "embodied tactile interaction."

As the lab's first breakthrough, HIT and Haier launched the Fully Printed Nano Composite Electrical Heating Film, manufactured using self-developed materials and roll-to-roll (R2R) processes:
