Over 80% Market for High-Dex Robotic Hands: Linkerbot Eyes 1M Future Deployments
Since its founding in 2019, Linkerbot has undergone five years of R&D. Upon its 2024 launch, the product captured over 80% of China's high-degree-of-freedom dexterous robotic arm market and established a technological barrier spanning more than 20 degrees of freedom.
Starting at ¥8,800: Lingxin Qiaoshou Builds Core Competitiveness Through Full-Stack In-House R&D
Zhou Yong stated that Linkerbot's technological breakthrough stems from five years of sustained R&D investment and a full-stack in-house development strategy. The team conducted systematic research in three key areas: dexterous hand transmission systems, materials science, and perception algorithms.

For transmission systems, the team broke free from traditional motor-gear architecture constraints by developing micro-drive modules at the finger-joint level. These modules maintain flexibility while achieving industry-leading compactness, further enhancing the dexterous robot's integration and adaptability.
In materials and manufacturing, Linkerbot established a joint laboratory with WanKai New Materials to develop lightweight, high-strength composite materials. Data indicates these materials reduce the dexterous hand's weight by 40%, increase load capacity by 30%, and extend service life to over twice the industry average. Additionally, WanKai New Materials participated in Lingxin Qiaoshou's seed round financing in April 2025, partnering for mutual growth.

Regarding perception algorithms, Zhou Yong stated that Linkerbot currently utilizes sensors partially developed in-house and partially sourced from deep partners like Huaweike(HIT), Tasens Sensing, and Fulei Sensing. The company is progressively building a multimodal perception network. This technology enables Lingxin Qiaoshou to achieve millimeter-level precision control for complex tasks like cracking walnuts or applying makeup through tactile-visual-force fusion algorithms, with operational stability validated through real-person testing.

Linkerbot has launched multiple dexterous hand products: the L10 (10-DOF) standard edition at ¥19,900, the L20 Pro (20+ DOF) edition at ¥49,900, and the L30 direct-drive/wire-drive research edition (equipped with 20+ motors) at ¥99,900. The O Series introduces the cost-effective O7 (7 degrees of freedom) priced at just ¥8,800. Additionally, Linkerbot offers the J42 six-finger gripper with 42 degrees of freedom. Zhou Yong stated the O Series pays homage to Redmi smartphones, with Linkerbot aiming to reduce the O Series dexterous hand's cost to ¥499 within three years, making it affordable for ordinary students.
Zhou Yong revealed that in the second half of 2025, Linkerbot will launch an industrial-grade dexterous hand integrating 30 professional tool modules. This product aims to become the "Swiss Army knife" of the Industry 4.0 era, meeting diverse needs such as welding, assembly, and inspection through modular design.

To further lower developer barriers, Linkerbot is advancing internal testing of its LinkerOS low-code development platform. Pre-loaded with extensive skill libraries and standardized interfaces, this platform reduces agent development costs by 80% and enables plug-and-play functionality for 20-degree-of-freedom dexterous hands, significantly lowering the threshold for embodied intelligence applications.
Initial Goal: Establish 10,000 Data Collection Nodes with Humanoid Robots
Data accumulation remains a critical bottleneck for embodied intelligence development. To address this, Linkerbot's Zhou Yong announced plans to launch the "One Million Robot Data Collection Initiative." This will deploy 1 million humanoid robots equipped with assembly dexterous hands for data gathering. Standardized testing scenarios-such as cracking walnuts, solving Rubik's cubes, and applying makeup-will be established to validate the dexterous hands' generalization capabilities in fine-motion operations.
